Our Programs
Training and Lessons
Our lessons center around exercises which allow riders to develop their feel and skills for riding. Basics are taught in a logical sequence building one upon another. Even when advanced skills are acquired, it is important to review and polish the basic tools required to achieve proficiency with more demanding tasks.

We teach private lessons as well as small groups depending on the situation. Our students have their own horses or lease horses for lessons. If you are just starting, contact us, and we can go over options for you whether that is recommending a trusted colleague who provides school horses or short term leasing a horse with us to get started.

Our lessons are taught Tuesday through Sunday. You can lesson at our location or one of us can come to yours. If the location is outside of Wellington in the winter or Lexington in the summer, travel fees will apply.

Lessons can be billed as a single lesson or bundled with full care training and board where you take as many lessons as we feel necessary for you to achieve your goals. In that scenario, a combination of riding lessons and training rides will be tailored to fit your needs. With full care, if your horse needs to see the show ring with Abby, our professional rider, it is included in the bundle as well,

Boarding and Care
Providing top notch equine care is a necessity for our team. Our equine partners have a consistent routine with consistent caretakers they know and love. No detail is too small for us to notice and attend. This adds up to happy, healthy horses and clients who can rest easy knowing all the bases are being covered.

We dedicated our lives to horses. If you also have this drive, there is no better team to teach you the art of caring for horses. We truly believe it is one of the great joys of life.
Clients pay dry stall rent and have their own tab at the feed supply for things like shavings, feed, fly spray, and miscellaneous supplies. Hay is purchased by the truck load from the same supplier all year so it is consistent. When a truckload of hay is purchased, all clients pay their portion. Care is all inclusive and billed per week. You can participate as much or as little as you would like. We do feel the relationship with the horse is paramount, and if you do not participate in caring for your horse, you are missing benefits you could be getting.

Full care includes, but is not limited to: stall cleaning, daily turnout, farrier and vet scheduling and attendance, leg icing, wrapping, poultice, bathing, clipping, night check and too many other details to list here.
